FREE Ask A Ninja episodes are available in the Video Store.

There will be a new episode up in the Video Store as a free download every week, so don't miss an episode. Gold members will get the episodes one week earlier than Silver members.

Episode 75: May 20-May 26 Gold members (May 27-June 29 all members)

Major Download Problems

So many of you might have noticed in the last few weeks that Ask A Ninja has not been automagically updating in your podcather of choice.

We're working closely with Google Reader and working on a solution with iTunes.

This is all a result of us switching some backend servers and possibly an upgrade in the iTunes client.

Updates soon, but some people have seen success in unsubscribing and resubscribing in iTunes.

Changes coming soon

Hey Everybody.

We've got some site changes coming down the pike.

We're busying working on a total site redesign. Our goal is to make the site load a lot faster, and make it easier for you to find and deal with the Ask A Ninja Episodes.

Secondly, we're launching a much better way for everyone to interact with each other. That's right, AskANinja.com is rolling out a social network.

GASP!

I hate it when I write buzzwords.

But seriously. Douglas, the Ninja, and myself have been very frustrated with the site and how little there is for you to do here.

We really want to pump up the discussions, and really give you the best place to talk and interact with the Ninja, us, and, most importantly, each other.

The new site will allow you to upload photos, videos, and music directly to the site (and you still can use your favorite sites too).

Everyone's profile pages will be much improved, making it easier to add friends, etc.

The only downside is, that you're going to need to create new account on this system and the discussions on the forums now will have to start from scratch.

I know. I know. But I think it's worth it.

I'll post a follow-up when we're ready to launch, but I wanted give y'all a heads up before the transition.

MP4 Woes

Hey guys,

There was a problem with this week's MP4. We just posted the fix. If you got a bad file just let iTunes or whatever you use for podcatching redownload.

A couple of other housekeeping things.

Douglas, the Ninja and I are busy working on the Ninja Handbook, which will be out in stores this time next year.

We've also got a couple other projects that we're close to announcing, so stay tuned.

Also, we've got some big plans in store for the website, a lot of fun things.

On June 7 at 8pm, the Ninja will be performing live! That's right.

Also on June 8, Kent and Douglas will be teaching a workshop on how you can develop your own material into podcasts. That's $20. More info here.

Great Week And Thanks Again

Right now the interview with Ninja is the most view clip of the week from the Showbiz show.

The Ninja killed the clips of Tarantino and Spade.

That's freakin' awesome.

We have a couple of cool things coming up in the next few weeks.

On Tuesday, Douglas, the Ninja, and myself went up to San Francisco and spent the day with the guys from Mythbusters. We should have a special delivery out by the end of the month. They're doing a whole episode on Ninja Myths that will air on the Discovery Channel here in the states around then.

We got to watch the rough cut of their show and it's really fun. The Ninja is scheduled to pop up in the actual show and then we got to play around with Jamie and Adam to shoot something special for you.

Ninja Book Coming Next Year

It's official, we're writing a book.

We closed a deal with Crown Publishing to write the Ninja Handbook: A Guide for Non-Ninjas to Become more Ninja-like.

Douglas, the Ninja, and I have been working the past couple of months on it and we're really excited about it.

When we started Ask A Ninja, Douglas and I were at the lowest point of our careers. We had nothing but an inspiration to start a gmail account.

It's just that I have a feeling that the media is going to go apeshit over the winners, and I think that it would be hilarious to see the Ninja get interviewed on some show like the Today show. (I giggle when I think about that).
